Two gold-crowned deity murti of a seated couple sit enthroned, decorated with red and white flower garlands and gold jewellery, backed by a teal curtain. Beside the shrine a smaller figure stands in a green niche, and oil lamps and brass vessels rest on the stone platform. Red fabric hangs at the left, and a brass bell is visible at the top left.2013-02-27January 29 20132013-01-29February 27 20132013-02-27A photograph inside a temple shrine of a multi-armed deity murti seated on a throne, with a red-orange face, crown, trident and ornate jewelry, draped in red and orange cloth and garlanded with purple and white flowers. Two smaller figures stand to the sides, one with a dark crown and orange clothing near a gold arch. A single person with a shaved head, wearing an orange robe, stands with hands folded at the lower right facing the shrine. Brass oil lamps and a kalasha-style offering stand on the stone platform in front, with a blue backdrop and carved grey stone pillars around.2013-01-29April 08 20122012-04-08Inside a stone temple shrine, two large painted deity statues stand behind an altar: the left one holds a trident and wears a red turban and gold crown-like headdress, the right one wears a golden crown and multiple garlands. In front, a seated priest in orange-red robes with a shaved head performs a puja, tending offerings on a silver tray near a lingam decorated with green garlands and rudraksha. To the right, a standing figure in orange cloth with long dark hair and a bare chest faces the altar, and beside him a small shrine holds a figure with long dark hair, a red-and-white garland and gold ornaments. Brass oil lamps flank the altar and the ornate golden arch frames the scene.2013-05-12A photograph of a temple shrine with a large deity murti group: a seated figure with a trident and orange-red garments and a female figure in red and orange with garlands, flanked by a kneeling-looking seated figure and a standing statue in an arched niche. Multiple garlands of white and magenta flowers adorn the figures, with ornate necklaces and a golden arch behind a teal curtain. Brass oil lamps stand on the stone platform in front. A lone person in an orange cloth stands at the lower right, facing the shrine, apparently in puja or darshan. The statue in the right niche wears a saffron cloth and rudraksha-style beads; the figures are statues, so the person in orange at lower right is the only physical person.2013-01-29A photograph of a golden-arched shrine with a red curtain backdrop, housing a pair of large deity murtis: the figure on the left holds a trident and wears an orange-and-red turban, the figure on the right wears a purple sari and a crown, and both are garlanded with red and white flowers. Between them sits a shivalinga-like object on a blue-draped base with a garland, flanked by brass oil lamps. To the right stands a smaller orange-robed figure in a niche with a green backdrop. In the foreground, a person in orange clothing bends forward at the shrine steps. The shrine is open-sided within a red-curtained pavilion.2013-01-22January 25 20132013-01-25A photograph of a temple shrine with carved grey stone pillars and a gilded arch framing two large deity murtis against a red curtain. The murtis wear floral garlands and ornaments, and one holds a raised hand with a ritual implement. In front stands a shaved-headed priest seen from behind, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and a saffron upper cloth draped over the shoulder, facing the shrine. Brass lamps and offering vessels sit on the stone platform, and a smaller garlanded figure stands in a green-backed niche at right.2013-09-16
