A seated teacher in a maroon-red robe with a long rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders rests one hand on the head of a kneeling devotee in a white shirt, whose palms are pressed together in namaskar. The teacher is seated on a silver-framed throne with a silver parrot finial and red velvet cushion, a silver trident stands nearby, and behind them are garlanded deity images with marigold garlands and green foliage. A second person in cream-white clothing with a mala and forehead markings sits at the right edge.
