February 18 20132013-02-18A seated man in an ornate gilded throne with a tall golden arched backrest and red velvet cushions, palms pressed together in namaskar with eyes closed. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti with a gold border, a gold-coloured layered rudraksha-style mala and white bead necklace, gold armbands and bangles, and has a white-and-red forehead mark. Brass oil lamps (kuthu vilakku) with lit flames stand on both sides and hang from the ceiling against a dark stone wall with bead strands. A small offering tray with flower petals sits before the throne, and partially visible devotees with folded hands are at the right edge. The seated figure is a probable match for a person based on the saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and ornate gold adornments.2013-02-02 +2 copiesMarch 29 20132013-03-29A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a carved, elaborate backrest, draped with a tiger-stripe cloth.
