September 06 20122012-09-06September 06 20122012-09-06A photograph of a ritual blessing in warm red-orange light. A woman in an orange-red sari with a beaded necklace and gold earrings holds her hands on the head of a man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala and a name badge on his chest. He has his eyes closed and hands raised near his head. Behind them, another man in white watches, and a red curtain hangs at right. No a person candidate is clearly visible; the figures are a priestess-like giver and a devotee receiving blessing.2012-07-20September 09 20122012-09-09Two men stand face to face beside a red velvet curtain and a vertical metal pole in a dim, warmly lit hall. On the right, a long-haired figure with dark swept-back hair, bare upper body and multiple rudraksha malas and ornate beaded necklaces presses one hand to the forehead of the man on the left. The bald, bearded man on the left wears white kurta-style clothing with a saffron-orange shawl and a red-orange thread around his wrist, and holds his other palm up in a gesture of receiving. Behind them, a few saffron-robed people are partly visible.2012-09-07October 14 20122012-10-14Indoor photo of a ritual blessing in front of a red draped curtain. A long-haired figure in orange robes with rudraksha malas and a gold necklace reaches out and presses fingers to the forehead of a man in a white shirt. Behind them a bald man in orange and a shawl with a rudraksha mala watches, and a figure in orange stands at the left edge. The figure in orange with long hair appears to be a person, giving a blessing to a devotee. A purple logo sits at the upper left. Several people are visible.2012-07-17July 13 20162016-07-13Photograph of an intimate blessing moment. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, a white tripundra on his forehead, a white and red flower garland and a brown wrap draped over his shoulder places his hand on the forehead of a short-haired man in a white kurta, who has his palms pressed together in respect. The blessing giver appears as a probable Swamiji by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, flower garland, ceremonial adornment and a saffron-brown wrap. Behind them a red cushioned seat, gold pillars and a red-draped altar area are visible, with a partly visible man in white at left.2016-07-01July 14 20162016-07-14Photograph of a close blessing moment indoors against a red curtain. A man in white ritual clothes with a rudraksha mala and a bangle has his eyes closed while a figure in a saffron-orange cloth draped over the shoulder, with an ornate necklace and small gold hoop earrings, presses a hand to his forehead. Another person stands behind, partly visible. Warm stage lighting and a second red drape frame the scene. The saffron-clad figure's face is turned away and identity is not established from appearance.2012-07-20July 19 20122012-07-19
