A man in an orange-red shawl and matching robe stands in smoky haze, holding a lit oil lamp in his left hand and a silver handbell in his right while he smiles with eyes lowered. He wears a white horizontal tilak with a red dot on his forehead, a gold necklace and a rudraksha mala with a gold-mesh pendant, and the shawl bears dark printed motifs. Behind him, seated devotees in orange clothing watch, including a woman on the left holding a small object; a second person in a headscarf stands farther back. The scene suggests an aarti or lamp-offering ritual.

Evening ritual in a hall with a large fire lit in a metal fire pit or lamp stand. A standing man with long, swept-back hair wears an orange-saffron dhoti-style wrap and holds a small metal vessel in one hand while raising the other arm toward the flame. Beside him, a younger man in orange cloth with a dark cord looks toward the fire, and a seated man in orange sits at left. Several seated people in white and orange clothing are visible in the background near a person playing a stringed instrument. A woven orange banner hangs on the left and right walls and a large circular decorative piece is on the wall behind. Visible people: about five.

Devotees sit on a floor in a hall during a ritual. In the foreground, a man in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl and a long rudraksha mala holds a brass bell in his right hand and a brass oil lamp in his left, with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and arms. Behind him, a man in a saffron-orange shawl and rudraksha mala sits with a small brass lamp or incense vessel near his hands. Further left, a woman in orange sits beside him, and other lamp-holding devotees in white and orange appear in the background. A gold and red throne-like chair sits behind them, with warm lamplight on the scene. The ritual appears to be an aarti with oil lamps.

A photograph of a ritual arati in an indoor hall with dark red curtains behind. A man in an orange dhoti and orange shawl, with white tilak on his forehead and arm bands, raises a brass multi-wick oil lamp with a visible flame. Beside him a man in a white dhoti with a golden border and a rudraksha mala sits with hands folded in namaste. On the right a woman in an orange sari with a red border rings a handbell and sits before a microphone. Brass and microphone stands are visible.

A photograph of a ritual scene with three men seated on the floor in a hall. The nearest man in the foreground wears a white dhoti with a red border and holds a small brass oil lamp with a flame. Behind him, a bald man in a saffron-orange robe lifts a lit brass lamp and a burning wick, with smoke rising. A third man in a saffron robe sits further back, partly hidden, holding a lit lamp toward the group. On a red tray in the lower left are brass plates, a small brass lamp and a brass vessel. Blurred figures in orange and red clothing sit in the background, with warm lights and a laptop on a blue table at left.

A standing man in an orange sannyasi cloth wrapped around his waist and draped over one shoulder, bare-chested, with matted dreadlocks tied under a patterned headband, holds aloft a tiered silver aarti lamp with multiple lit oil lamps. A rudraksha mala hangs at his neck and wrists. Seated devotees fill the hall in red chairs and on orange floor mats, many in white and orange clothing. In the foreground, a silver bell rests on a striped cloth-covered table. Red drapes and a golden framed image appear behind, and a few devotees hold cloth bags printed with a lotus-like emblem.

Evening ritual scene in a hall. A standing figure in a draped saffron-orange cloth, with long wavy shoulder-length hair, holds a small metal bell in one hand and extends the other hand toward a lit flame. Beside him a seated attendant in orange holds a burning oil lamp on a wooden stand, with bright flame. Another attendant in orange with a rudraksha mala sits at the lower left. Behind them, people in white sit on the floor near a blank white easel board and a dark backdrop with a decorated altar area.
