A brass kalasha pot hangs above it on chains, and red and pink rose garlands, green leaf garlands and white jasmine strings drape around it. Rudraksha mala beads hang down the front, with an orange cloth wrapped around the base. Behind it, a blue silk garment with gold stripes and jeweled ornaments are visible, so the lingam sits within a decorated deity setting. No people are visible; this is a deity murti being decorated for abhishekam-style worship.2013-05-14Photo 11730168 +1 copiesSeptember 07 20142014-09-07September 17 20142014-09-17Photo 11726193 +2 copiesAugust 21 20142014-08-21November 27 20112011-11-27 +1 copiesJune 12 20152015-06-12Close photo of a Shiva lingam dressed for worship, wrapped in a red and gold cloth with a jewelled silver-white band across its front and a red stone set in the centre. White jasmine garlands and a dark rudraksha mala hang around the lingam, with a golden kalasha-style cover and a snake-hood canopy of five golden cobra heads with green lamp-shaped ornaments above. A gold-patterned ceremonial backdrop and red satin draping frame the deity murti, and a blue cloth with a rudraksha-beaded panel with white and red stones lies in the foreground.
