Scaffolding of bamboo poles covers the left side of the structure.2012-02-08Photo 11730513A tall stone gopuram temple tower wrapped in bamboo scaffolding stands against a pale overcast sky, its tiers carved with sculpted figures and niches. At the base, a wide gateway leads inside, where a stone lamp stand is visible. Several people are at the entrance: a bare-chested older man in a dhoti stands at right, two men in white dhotis and a woman in a red sari and white top walk near the gate, and a man in white stands nearby.2012-05-22A photograph looking up at a tall, colourfully painted South Indian temple gopuram with tiers of carved stucco figures in pink, green, blue and yellow. A stone-carved arched gateway with pillars sits at its base, behind a white-painted boundary wall. No people are visible; the scene shows only architecture and a glimpse of green trees beyond the gate.2008-07-29May 15 20182018-05-15May 22 20122012-05-22January 07 20102010-01-07July 30 20082008-07-30 +1 copies
