December 13 20122012-12-13December 08 20132013-12-08A seated man in a red-maroon robe and matching turban sits on an ornate red and gold throne with lion-headed armrests, a rudraksha mala draped over his chest, and bare feet resting on a tiger-striped cloth. Before him, devotees in white and red clothing sit on the floor beside brass plates of offerings, including a bowl of orange-red powder and small brass cups. A golden lion statue stands beside the throne, and a projection screen and a landscape painting frame the scene. The seated figure is the appearance-based Swamiji (probable), with a turban, crown-like ornament, rudraksha mala and saffron-toned robe, described as the person on the throne.2013-12-21December 08 20132013-12-08July 11 20132013-07-11June 06 20142014-06-06Indoor ceremony in a carpeted hall where a padapuja is being performed. A seated figure on a red and gold throne with a golden lion statue beside it wears a maroon-and-gold turban with white feathers, a red and blue beaded garland, gold necklaces and bangles, and holds a small wand. Devotees sit on the floor in orange and red saffron clothing with rudraksha malas; one older man in white dhoti and shawl with a white forehead mark and red-and-white beads kneels with hands in anjali. Brass thalis hold flowers, rice and oil lamps, and a tall brass kalasha stands at the left. A projector screen and tripod are visible in the background.2013-12-17December 11 20122012-12-11 +1 copiesA photograph of a padapuja ritual on a raised wooden stage in a bright hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, orange-saffron robes, a red-and-yellow flower garland and a bare upper arm sits on a dark red and gold throne, smiling and gesturing with one hand. Golden lion statues flank the throne, and a tall green ivy trailing from the ledge sits at the top. Four devotees kneel at his feet: a woman in white with a white sari, a woman in a red-and-maroon checked shawl, a bald man in white with an orange cloth, and a blonde woman in a white top with an orange cloth over her shoulder. Brass plates with flowers and small offerings lie on the floor.2012-12-11April 16 20132013-04-16A photograph of a padapuja in a hall with red curtains and a gilded throne. A man with long dark hair, orange-saffron robes, a gold chain-style garland and a beaded necklace sits on a brown throne flanked by gold lion-like carvings; he is a candidate for Swamiji, shown with long swept hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha-style beads, and his appearance is consistent with that, though the face is partially turned. Seated on the floor before him, devotees in white and red shawls, one woman in a green sari and another in a blue-and-white sari, kneel and sit with hands folded or in front of a brass plate of flowers, sweets and offerings. A woman with curly blonde hair in a white top and red shawl presses her palms together. A bald man in white with a red shawl and a woman in white sit nearby, and a person in a white head covering appears at the lower right.2012-12-12July 02 20132013-07-02
