December 13 20122012-12-13A photograph of a padapuja ritual on a raised wooden stage in a bright hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, orange-saffron robes, a red-and-yellow flower garland and a bare upper arm sits on a dark red and gold throne, smiling and gesturing with one hand. Golden lion statues flank the throne, and a tall green ivy trailing from the ledge sits at the top. Four devotees kneel at his feet: a woman in white with a white sari, a woman in a red-and-maroon checked shawl, a bald man in white with an orange cloth, and a blonde woman in a white top with an orange cloth over her shoulder. Brass plates with flowers and small offerings lie on the floor.2012-12-11December 08 20132013-12-08A seated figure in a red-brown robe with a rust-orange shawl and a rudraksha-style beaded mala sits on an ornate red and gold throne with a gilded lion statue beside it. The figure wears a gold crown and an armband. Seated devotees on the floor in front, several in white, face the throne, with plates of flowers and fruit set on a striped cloth. A video camera on a tripod and a large portrait of a smiling figure on a green background appear behind. Swamiji (probable): the throned figure has long swept-back hair, a crown, saffron-orange clothing and a rudraksha mala, cues consistent with the page's identification.2013-12-13December 08 20132013-12-08Seated on an ornate golden-brown throne with a golden lion sculpture beside him, a man with long swept-back dark hair, a white forehead mark, a pink-and-yellow flower garland, bangles and an orange-saffron cloth smiles and raises his hands in greeting. Around him on the carpet, four devotees sit in a semicircle: a bald man in white with an orange shawl pours or offers from a small vessel, a woman in white with an orange shawl holds a small silver cup with a light-coloured flower tilted toward the seated figure, a woman in white and orange receives a flower, and a man in white with an orange shawl sits at the right. Silver trays hold rows of small oil lamps, a silver plate of offerings and a silver cup, and orange cloth lies on the floor. Ornamental plants and a marble wall form the background.2012-12-11July 11 20132013-07-11A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a golden lion on each side is receiving padapuja. He wears a rust-red turban with a white plume, a rust-red robe, and layered garlands of multicolored beads and a red-and-white flower garland, with a rudraksha mala. Bare feet rest on a tiger-print cloth while a kneeling priest in white dhoti and shawl, with bare shoulders and shaved head, holds his hands in namaskar. Devotees in orange, red and rust saris and shawls sit on the floor around silver plates of flowers and oil lamps. A large screen and a printed landscape banner appear behind the throne. The figure's appearance is consistent with the page's a person reference, but the identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2013-12-17A seated man in a red-maroon robe and matching turban sits on an ornate red and gold throne with lion-headed armrests, a rudraksha mala draped over his chest, and bare feet resting on a tiger-striped cloth. Before him, devotees in white and red clothing sit on the floor beside brass plates of offerings, including a bowl of orange-red powder and small brass cups. A golden lion statue stands beside the throne, and a projection screen and a landscape painting frame the scene. The seated figure is the appearance-based Swamiji (probable), with a turban, crown-like ornament, rudraksha mala and saffron-toned robe, described as the person on the throne.2013-12-21June 17 20132013-06-17December 11 20122012-12-11A photograph of a seated figure on a gold-and-cream throne flanked by a gilded lion-shaped armrest and brass oil lamps hanging nearby. In front, a young man in white kurta with hands joined, and a woman in a white sari with hands in namaste, sit beside a silver thali of pink and red flower petals and offering plates. A small framed portrait stands behind the throne, and a wooden door with brass studs fills the right side. Two more devotees are partly visible at the lower right.2013-07-06
