A photograph of a yellow-walled room with orange floral curtains. A man in a white shirt raises a decorated brass kalasha-style pot with a colourful painted lid above the head of a seated figure in orange-red robes wearing a long red-and-orange flower garland and a dark rudraksha-style mala; the seated figure's face is turned away from the camera. Two silver pots wrapped in flower garlands rest near the seated figure. Men in white shirts stand around, one holding a rolled paper and a booklet with a portrait cover, and another wears a lanyard. The room has a sofa with yellow cushions.

A central figure wears a red-orange shawl over a saffron-red garment, a long dark rudraksha-style mala, and a thick red floral garland, with long dark hair swept back; this appearance is consistent with a Swamiji (probable) candidate in person. Several men in white shirts surround him, one holding a silver-wrapped offering, another holding a bundle of flowers; a man in a dark suit and red tie stands at the right edge, and a seated figure is partly visible at the far right. Yellow cushions line the bench behind them.2011-02-01A warmly lit room with orange patterned curtains. A person in a red sari and red-and-white floral garland stands centrally, with a decorated colourful crown-like headpiece being placed on their head by a man in a white shirt. Around them, several men in white shirts and dark clothes stand close, one holding a small bundle or garland, and another in a dark maroon shirt at left. The centre figure wears a red garland and beaded necklace, with metallic-wrapped items held nearby. The scene appears to be a ceremonial honouring in a small room.2011-02-01A photograph inside a temple hall where a bare-chested man in an orange saffron cloth is being garlanded with a thick pink flower garland and a white jasmine garland. A man in a white shirt and a man in a blue shirt raise the pink garland over his head while a young boy in a red striped shirt presses his palms together in reverence. Another orange-clad attendant stands at the right edge. Behind them are arched white pillars and a deity murti in an alcove, with a golden altar and a striped cloth visible at right. The scene suggests a garlanding honour during a visit, with several devotees crowding around. The man receiving the garland has long dark hair and a gold bangle on his wrist; his appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm an identity, so he is described by role.2012-06-03 +1 copiesA padapuja or house-visit ritual in a living room with yellow walls and a cream sofa.
