A group of about two dozen men seated cross-legged on the floor during a pada puja ritual. Most wear white dhoti-style cloth with red-striped borders, bare upper bodies or white shawls, rudraksha malas and white forehead markings. Many hold small oil lamps or brass ritual vessels and lift them in offering, while brass plates with flowers, sweets and kumkum sit on orange cloths before them. A man in an orange robe sits at the left edge. Some participants have sacred ash or paste on their foreheads and arms. The hall is bright white with a few plastic containers and personal items on the floor.
