A large hall filled with seated devotees performing a pada puja, a group ritual. Many women in white traditional saris and white dhotis sit cross-legged on the floor, most with red or yellow shawls draped over their shoulders. Brass and silver puja plates, lamps, small bells and bowls rest on orange cloth mats in front of them, some holding flowers and offerings. Several people have hands folded in prayer. Rows of participants extend to the back of the room, and a few people stand near the back, some wearing bright blue or yellow tops.
