Outdoor scene under coconut palms with a bamboo-and-wood canopy frame. In the centre, a figure with long dark hair swept back, a red tilak on the forehead, a rudraksha mala and orange robes walks barefoot across hexagonal tiles toward a white and red striped platform. Beside and behind him, several saffron-robed monks follow, one holding a small object. To the right, a line of devotees in white dress stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them, a white-robed figure stands near a blue tarpaulin and a low white wall. Bare sandy ground with dark scorch-marks and a banana plant lies in the background.
