A photograph of an empty industrial-style kitchen with pale blue-grey walls and a tiled floor. Three large stainless steel cooking vessels with lids stand in a row on metal frames, with a steel cabinet on the left and steel pots on the floor. A green bucket and a red bucket sit near the vessels, and a wall-mounted electrical switch box and pipes run along the upper wall beneath high ventilation windows. No people are visible.2007-08-26October 06 20072007-10-06November 18 20162016-11-18November 27 20122012-11-27November 27 20122012-11-27November 27 20122012-11-27October 13 20142014-10-13A kitchen interior with a tiled floor and white walls, where several women work with large steel cooking vessels and pots set on burners fed by red LPG gas cylinders, one labelled Indane. Pipes and taps run along the wall above the cookware. In the foreground a large pot of yellow food sits on the counter beside steel tumblers and a plastic container. A woman in a blue sari with a white blouse stands centre-front, smiling, and holds a large steel plate. Another woman in a purple sari stands behind her, and a woman in a red and gold sari stands at the right holding a steel vessel. A fourth woman in a blue sari bends at the left to pour from a large vessel. Steel pots and buckets are stacked along the left. The scene looks like a community kitchen preparing food in bulk.2011-04-17October 06 20072007-10-06Three large dark aluminium cooking vessels sit on a red tiled kitchen floor, filled with cooked white rice and a seasoned rice preparation with visible spices. A long steel ladle rests across the rightmost pot. Behind them stands a table draped in green and gold cloth holding brass vessels, a brass bell and small lamps, and a blue plastic chair with a folded cloth. No people are visible in the scene.2012-11-27January 06 20122012-01-06A plain kitchen with pale blue walls and a reddish-brown door. Several women in white saris with orange borders work around large stainless steel vessels and pots on the floor and counters. One woman in a turquoise shawl and orange blouse bends over a pot, another in an orange-bordered sari stoops over a large vessel, and others stand nearby by a refrigerator and shelves. Metal plates, steel buckets, a red basket and a red gas cylinder are visible. Two small framed pictures hang on the back wall, and a notice is pinned beside the door. The scene suggests food preparation for a community meal.2007-02-15
