The man has long dark wavy hair. A garland of yellow and purple flowers hangs on the left side of the pillar. A red-tinged offering sits on the pillar. Palm trees and an orange-walled building are in the background, with Kannada script visible on the building's sign.

September 13 20102010-09-13A man in saffron-orange draped robes and a dark rudraksha mala stands at right, one hand resting on a tall copper column with a brown-carved stone base. The column is hung with yellow and magenta marigold garlands and green leaves, and the base is covered with carved panels and scattered flowers. A gold ritual vessel is held at his hip, and palm fronds and a blue-grey stone figure appear behind. Swamiji (probable): the orange robes, the rudraksha mala, and the long swept-back hair are the qualifying cues here, and the page marks Swamiji as present, so the figure is a candidate for Swamiji in person.2010-09-13September 13 20102010-09-13A man in saffron-orange robes and a red undershirt stands on a white platform beside a tall copper flagstaff, pulling a white rope with one raised hand. The copper pillar's base is wrapped in white jasmine garlands with red, yellow and orange flower strands, and small copper shrine motifs decorate its lower section. Coconut palms and a pale sky form the background, and a brass plate sits near his feet. This appears to be a dwajarohanam, the flag-hoisting rite at a temple. The man has shaved-looking short dark hair and a tilak mark, and his clothing and presence are consistent with a sannyasi performing the rite, though his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance.2009-07-08A photograph of a man in orange sannyasi clothing, a sleeveless orange top and orange dhoti, with long dark wavy hair, standing on a raised base while tying a rope around a tall copper-clad ornate pillar or flagstaff under a corrugated metal roof. Yellow and purple marigold garlands hang on the pole's base, which has a small bronze relief of a seated figure. In the lower foreground, a shaved-headed man in white dhoti and cloth with maroon borders is partly visible, pulling on a rope. The scene suggests a flag-raising at an outdoor ceremony.2010-09-13A man in an orange sleeveless top and orange shawl, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala around his neck, pulls on a rope with one hand while looking upward.
