A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti bends forward to offer a lit lamp tray to a central linga draped in yellow flowers and green leaves. Behind the linga, large deity murtis wear jewelled ornaments and garlands, one holding a sword-like object. On the right an older man in a white shawl and gold-bordered dhoti stands with his hands folded near tall brass oil lamps. Some festival text is printed along the bottom of the image.2021-01-19February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesJune 19 20142014-06-19 +1 copiesTemple-style ritual photograph before an ornate silver arch backdrop with a deep red curtain. Two bare-chested priests in white dhotis stand at the front, one raising his arm and hand to the crowned metal deity murti at centre, who wears a gold crown, a yellow-and-white garland and multiple gold necklaces. The murti sits on a throne draped in gold brocade, flanked by a second seated deity statue with a dark ornate headdress and beaded necklaces, both surrounded by yellow, red and orange flower garlands. The second priest on the right wears a yellow-orange shawl over his shoulder and gold bracelets. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at the right edge beside a silver peetha-style ornament. This appears to be a puja or abhishekam scene; no living person is seated on the throne.2016-03-27December 02 20172017-12-02
