A seated figure in saffron-orange robes, with a rudraksha mala and a long dark hair bun, sits on a golden throne-like seat under a golden canopy. Around them, about a dozen men in white dhotis and white shirts, several wearing white blindfolds, stand in a line, some touching the seated figure's stool or offering hands, others pouring or arranging items. A red carpet runs across the stage, and at right a richly decorated golden peetha holds deity murtis garlanded with flowers and wrapped in orange and red cloth. A white headband is worn by many participants. A shirtless man with a gold-bordered white cloth and a bare-chested man in white stand near the murti, and a woman in a red-orange saree reaches toward it. To the right stands a gold-framed throne with a seated figure garlanded with white and yellow flower strands, and a green cloth covers the platform. Artificial greenery and a hanging fabric canopy frame the left and right edges. A metal railing runs along the front of the stage.2016-04-10A photograph inside a hall with a red carpet, showing a devotee-filled scene.
