A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on a red-cushioned seat before an ornate gold throne with a carved arched back. Two gilded lion sculptures flank him on either side. He wears a white forehead band with a red bindi, rudraksha malas with silver beads and a ceremonial gold necklace, and his hands are pressed together in greeting. A water bottle rests near the right lion. Dark maroon drapes form the backdrop. The man has long, swept-back hair and a sitting posture consistent with a discourse setting. Swamiji (probable) is seated on the throne, identified by his long swept-back hair, saffron robes, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklace.2013-01-28November 12 20152015-11-12 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne in a temple-style hall. The figure wears an orange-saffron robe with a gold-bordered edge, a long rudraksha mala draped over the shoulders, gold bangles, and a tall dark hair bun wrapped with rudraksha beads, with a red bindi and white markings on the forehead. The eyes are closed and the face is smiling. Hands are folded in the lap, and bare feet rest on a striped tiger-skin cloth. The throne has golden lion figures on each side, carved golden makara-like arches behind, and red cushioned armrests with tiger-print upholstery. A microphone stands in front.2016-01-16December 31 20152015-12-31January 20 20142014-01-20 +1 copiesOctober 13 20132013-10-13A man seated in a golden ornate throne with red velvet cushions and gold lion-head armrests, hands pressed together in namaste. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold pendant, multiple beaded arm bands, and a white and red forehead mark; his long dark hair is swept back. He sits cross-legged on a zebra-striped cloth over a maroon cushion, one hand resting on the armrest, speaking into a headset microphone. Behind him a colourful painted backdrop shows a deity holding a trident and a sacred symbol. Lit oil lamps stand at the left edge. Swamiji (probable): the appearance cues of long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and gold pendant match the page's claim of his presence. The scene suggests a satsang or discourse, with no other people visible.2013-02-04
