July 11 20102010-07-11December 02 20112011-12-02A bare-chested boy with short dark hair sits with eyes closed and a faint smile, palms pressed together in namaste. A hand with a red thread on the wrist rests on his forehead, blessing him. He wears rudraksha malas and a white sacred thread across his chest. Behind him stands another child with a white thread. A blurred golden lamp and warm lights glow at left, and a garland of yellow and red flowers appears at right. The setting suggests a darshan blessing ritual.2017-02-19A photograph of a blessing moment in an indoor hall with maroon curtains. A man in orange ochre robes sits on a red and black tiger-striped cushion, his long dark hair swept back, one hand resting on the crown of a young boy's head. The boy, wearing a white and blue checked shirt and a rudraksha mala, stands with eyes closed and one palm raised. Behind them, a man in white clothes sits with his hand extended, and a young man in a cream kurta sits on the left.2011-12-02A young boy in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala stands with palms pressed together in anjali, eyes closed, as a man's hand rests on his forehead in a blessing. The blessing man, seen from behind and partly in profile, wears a red-and-yellow flower garland and has long hair and a beard; he wears a dark bead mala. Beside them, a partly visible person in white and a gilded lamp stand, with a red curtain in the background. The scene resembles a darshan blessing, shown in a photograph credited to the Nithyanandapedia archive.2017-02-19Close photo of a shirtless young man with dark tousled hair, eyes closed and head bowed, receiving a blessing as an older person's hand rests on the crown of his head. The hand wears a gold bangle and a red thread with rudraksha beads. The background is blurred, showing a figure in a yellow garment and a dark red curtain. The person presenting the blessing is not clearly identifiable, so a person is unsure.2018-03-25A photograph of a standing man in a red and gold-bordered robe with a long rudraksha mala around his neck and dark hair tied in a bun, placing his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white polo shirt with blue stripes. The boy stands with palms pressed together and eyes closed in prayer, holding a small red item. The man holds a folded paper in his left hand. A bald man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala sits blurred in the background, and a partially visible person stands at the top left.2011-11-27March 04 20172017-03-04March 24 20182018-03-24 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20172017-02-19February 27 20172017-02-27A young boy with short dark hair and eyes closed kneels in an upward-facing blessing posture, wearing an orange shawl over a grey-and-black striped shirt and a rudraksha bracelet on his wrist. An adult hand rests on top of his head, blessing him, while another arm is raised in the foreground. Blurred figures in orange and white clothing surround them in what appears to be a group ritual gathering, possibly a satsang or puja setting.2012-07-08
