A photograph of saffron-robed sadhus seated in a long row at low white tables for a communal meal during a Kumbh Mela bhandara at the Nirvani Akhada. Many men in orange and saffron robes eat from steel plates and tumblers, with steel cups, plastic water bottles and food platters arranged along the tables. A bearded elder in a tall orange turban and beaded necklace sits at the front right, and a man in a rust-coloured kurta and white dhoti walks along the green carpet at the left edge. Pale green drapery hangs behind the row.

A dining scene at a long table draped in red satin with a white curtained backdrop. A man in an orange turban and orange robe with a long grey beard sits centrally, looking to the side. Beside him a person with long dark hair wears a yellow saree with a red bindi and gold bangles, eating from a banana leaf plate of rice and side dishes. Water bottles, steel tumblers and small steel bowls are on the table. At the left edge, two more people in pink and saffron head cloths are partly visible at a second table.

Photograph of sadhus seated on low wooden tables under an orange tent, eating a meal from stainless steel thalis and small bowls at a bhandara. On the left a white-bearded man in orange robes with a white towel over his shoulder eats from a thali. In the centre a long-bearded sadhu in orange wraps with rudraksha malas and a brass badge sits with a thali of rice and sweets before him. On the right a bald sadhu in orange with tilak and a rudraksha mala serves himself from a thali. A water bottle and steel tumblers sit on the tables, and a partly visible person in orange stands at the far right edge.

A seated meal at a long table draped in red satin on a red carpet, with white chairs and a floral-curtained wall behind. A man at the front left wears a peach-coloured shawl over a saffron-toned garment, rudraksha beads and a red bindi, and eats from a banana leaf with a steel tumbler beside him. Beside him a bearded man in an orange shawl and dark red sleeveless vest eats from a leaf plate. Further along, other men in orange and saffron robes and turbans sit at the tables, eating from banana leaves, with water bottles and steel tumblers in front of them. Five people are visible, with a group of seated diners continuing at the far end.

A dining room scene where a group of men in saffron and orange robes sits at a long white-clad table with plates of food, cups and water bottles. At the far right, a figure in an orange-red turban and orange-red garments sits in an ornate gold and red throne-style chair at the head of the table, with a red-and-gold chair beside him. Men in orange, peach and red robes sit around the table, while a bare-chested man with white tilak marks stands at the left near a gold chair. A yellow tulip arrangement sits in a vase on the table, and gold curtains hang behind.

A photo of saffron-robed sadhus seated in a row on the floor at a long tent-side meal, each with a small low table, steel plates and steel tumblers. A young server in a maroon kurta and white dhoti at left carries a steel bowl and serves food. The seated men wear orange and saffron robes, rudraksha malas, and one wears a red-orange turban; the others have shaved heads and orange tilak marks. Some drink from steel cups and others eat. Bottled water sits on the tables and a pale yellow curtain forms the backdrop over a green mat. Scene appears to be an annadan or bhandara meal.

A row of saffron-robed men sit cross-legged on white cloth along a covered hall, eating from banana leaves set with rice, curries, fried items and bowls. The man second from right in front, wearing glasses, rudraksha malas and beaded bangles, holds a microphone to his mouth. Others wear orange and red robes, beaded necklaces and bangles, and a shaved-headed man at far right in glasses eats with his right hand. Water bottles and plates line the cloth, while standing attendees in orange and white clothes stand behind in the background.
