In the foreground, a young man in a blue-and-white striped shirt plays a large drum slung from his shoulder, and beside him a man in a light green shirt does the same. A man in a striped shirt with an orange waist sash plays cymbals, and a man in a white shirt plays a drum on the right. Behind them, a row of people in white dhotis and shirts walk, and a woman in a pink-and-white sari walks among them. Several decorated umbrellas with colourful fringed canopies are carried above the procession. A low building with a red-trimmed roof and a utility pole stand on the right.2006-12-28Outdoor procession on a dirt road at an ashram-like compound with low white buildings and water tanks. The lead drummer in the centre wears a pale green shirt and white dhoti, striking a large drum with a stick. Other drummers on either side play smaller drums with red and orange cloth straps. Palm trees, thatched huts, and orange saffron flags line the road in the background, with more people walking behind the musicians.2006-11-13A rural road procession in daylight, with palm trees and a thatched hut at left. In the foreground, several drummers in white dhotis and white shawls play double-headed drums: a man in a pale yellow shirt beats a red-and-black drum, while others carry drums with striped and pink covers. Behind them, men in white and lavender garments and an orange-clad figure walk along the road, and orange flags flutter from a pole near a small shrine structure.2006-11-13
