On a white lace-trimmed cloth sits a framed black-and-white portrait of a smiling figure with long, wavy hair, wearing a draped garment and a long necklace of dark beads. Red and pink roses decorate the top of the frame, and a silver tray holds fruit and offerings in front of it. White lilies and green leaves are arranged across the cloth, with pink flowers in a yellow pot to the left and a yellow fabric hanging from the upper left corner. The portrait is a printed picture, not a physical person, so no people are present in the scene.2008-05-03A photograph of a puja set-up in an indoor room. Centre-back, a large framed portrait on an easel-like stand shows a bare-chested figure with long dark hair and a sacred beaded necklace, seated against a dark backdrop, and it is garlanded with a multicoloured flower chain and pink flowers. In front, a silver-and-gold tray holds a white conical sculpted mound with a small sacred offering, flanked by a brass oil lamp (deepam) and a bowl. The tray rests on a green cloth with gold border. At lower left, a man's hand and white clothing are partly visible, and a steel vessel and small bowls sit in the foreground. The portrait depicts a person, so the a person candidate is a depiction; the flagged presence is based on the page and appearance cues are limited to the long hair and beaded necklace.October 01 20072007-10-01A photograph of a small room with a white-walled shrine. A large framed photograph of a seated figure in orange robes with a beaded necklace and long dark hair sits atop a white-draped table, garlanded with red and white flower strands and a red flower garland.
