A man in an ornate silver and gold throne with leopard-print cushions and a silver lion figure sits at left, wearing a saffron-orange shawl over a bare chest and a gold crown, with a probable Swamiji appearance (long dark hair, gold crown, saffron shawl, ceremonial throne). Around him, devotees sit on colourful striped mats: women in white saris with rudraksha malas, a woman in an orange headscarf, and men in saffron or white dhotis. Several devotees hold brass thalis with oil lamps and offerings. A man seated on the left wears a golden crown, long dark hair and an orange-red shawl, with a leopard-print cushion beneath him; he is a person candidate by the crown, long swept hair and saffron-toned clothing. Around him, devotees sit on a patterned cloth: several women wear white saris with gold borders, rudraksha malas and forehead markings, one wears an orange head cloth, and men in orange or red wraps sit with their backs to the camera. Trays of flowers, fruit and small brass dishes are placed before them, and a brass railing and a bronze lamp-bearing figure stand behind.2017-10-12A photo of a padapuja ceremony in a wood-panelled hall. Several devotees in white clothes with red-orange shawls sit on the floor around him holding brass plates of fruit, flowers and offerings, and a bald man in red robes sits in the background.
