The seated figure wears a red-brown robe and is draped in layered garlands of white jasmine, red roses, red and green beaded strands, with gold bangles on the wrists. A second person in a black turban is partially visible at the left edge. The offering appears to be a ritual handover of a small object between the hands, in a decorated temple-like setting with floral garlands. a person is not identifiable from appearance here; the figure is shown from behind and hands only, so no appearance-based candidate is established.2016-07-19Close-up photograph of two pairs of hands clasped together, one set wearing a gold ring and layered gold and beaded bangles over saffron-orange clothing, the other set wearing a red thread bracelet and a brown beaded mala wrist. Behind them are garlands of red, yellow, white and purple flowers. The seated figure is shown only from the knee down, so no face is visible; the appearance is too limited to confirm who it is, and only hands and limbs are shown.2009-12-24Close-up photograph of a ritual scene with red silk draped over a seated figure.
