A person in an orange-brown robe with a gold-bordered sash and a rudraksha-style beaded necklace bends forward, pressing their forehead onto a dark stone surface. Their dark hair is tied in a topknot with a red band. Incense sticks stand in a small metal holder at left, and yellow flowers and a dark stone object are visible nearby. A faint white marking is visible on the forehead. The appearance is consistent with a sannyasi in saffron-toned robes, but the face and identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone.

His right hand rests on the stone edge. Behind him are brass lamps, a golden vessel and a lit incense stick in a brass holder against a red and white wall.

A woman with dark hair in a bun bends forward, forehead pressed to a grey stone, her face lowered toward the stone. She wears an orange-red blouse and matching sari-style garment with a golden border, a long white flower garland with red blossoms and gold beads around her neck. Behind her, a red cloth hangs, green foliage fills the background, and another woman in a red sari with gold bands and bangles stands at the edge of the frame. The setting looks like an outdoor temple area, with a dark stone ledge in the foreground. The act appears to be an act of reverence at a stone or deity form.
