A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a long mala of rudraksha-style beads and a gold necklace, stands holding a small bell and a ceremonial object, in the position of the central officiant; this matches the a person appearance cues of long swept hair, saffron clothing and ornate beads, so his identity is marked as probable from appearance only. Other saffron-clad priests in orange garments and garlands stand around the fire pit, and a ceremonial umbrella with colourful panels shades the area. On the left, a priest holds a tray of flowers beside a deity murti decorated with yellow and orange flower garlands. Behind, a crowd of devotees in white and pale garments stands watching under a white wall with banners. Shallow offering bowls sit on the marble platform among scattered petals.2008-12-28December 28 20082008-12-28Outdoor ritual space under a corrugated roof with palm trees behind. On the right, a seated man on a red cushioned throne under a gold-and-flower decorated canopy wears a white shawl, garland and dark head covering; the appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described as a seated figure. Behind him stand a group of young saffron-robed children and adults in orange turbans and saffron robes, with several people in white. On the left, a priest in orange robes and orange turban, garlanded, tends the fire. Striped multicoloured mats cover the ground and brass ritual vessels sit near the pit.2017-08-25May 03 20122012-05-03 +1 copiesNight outdoor ritual homa at a yellow-rimmed fire pit on a wooden platform under a striped canopy with colourful bunting.
