Beside the steps stands a dark stone deity murti draped with a white and orange cloth, next to a potted plant. The orange-painted wall and bright sky frame the scene. a person cues: long swept-back hair, saffron robe, and rudraksha mala, shown as a figure ascending the temple steps.2010-08-10 +1 copiesA man with long dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead, a gold beaded necklace and an orange and red-bordered shawl walks across a polished marble floor in a temple hall. Behind him stand two dark stone deity statues, and a framed portrait labelled "PARAMAHAMSA SRI NITHYANANDA SWAMIGAL" sits at right showing a seated saffron-robed figure with a rudraksha mala beneath a tree. A woman in a black blouse sits at the lower left edge, with flower offerings on the floor near the statues. The man's appearance, with long swept hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace, is consistent with a person presence, though this remains uncertain.2006-09-29September 11 20112011-09-11A photograph of a long-haired man in a flowing saffron-orange robe standing indoors beside a gold-coloured statue of a standing figure wearing an orange robe, a rudraksha mala, and a tall gold crown-like headdress. Behind them is a draped purple-maroon curtain, a gold ceremonial umbrella (chhatra), a gold throne-like seat with a red cushion, brass ritual items, a brass oil lamp, and a floral offering at the statue's base. Colourful woven-patterned hangings hang along the upper wall. The living man appears to be an in-person devotee or sannyasi rather than a confirmed identity; the statue is a depiction.2006-08-22
