A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a white-and-red tilak on his forehead wears an orange saffron shawl and dhoti edged with gold, a heavy gold necklace with a large pendant, and an ornate gold armband; he smiles and walks forward with a bare-footed stride. Behind him a younger man in matching orange robes and gold-bordered cloth carries a silver vessel with flowers and a garland. Other attendants in white dhotis with sacred ash markings walk behind, and a golden staff with a tall finial stands at left. Overhead are palm-leaf decorations, marigold garlands, and colourful tasselled fabric, with spectators at the right edge.
