April 20 20112011-04-20Photograph of a temple shrine with two large metal deity murtis standing before a gold-framed arched throne with a white cloth backdrop. Both figures wear heavy garlands of red and white flowers and ornate jewelry; the figure on the left holds a trident and wears a white fan-shaped crown, while the figure on the right wears a silver crown and holds a lotus-like object. Green banana leaves, pink and yellow flowers, and small offering papers sit at the base. Smaller gold-framed shrines with garlanded idols appear at the upper left and right, and a small figure stands at the lower right. No physical people are visible.2011-04-20April 20 20112011-04-20April 20 20112011-04-20April 20 20112011-04-20A temple shrine interior with gilded arched niches framing several deity murtis. Two large gilded deity murtis, one with a tall crown and one with a jewelled headdress, stand behind a Shiva lingam wrapped in red and yellow marigold garlands. Brass oil lamps stand on the floor, and orange and red drapes frame the space. A smaller figure in red clothing and a red headcloth sits before the lingam, presumably a priest or devotee, and a green-and-gold niche to the right holds a standing red-clad figure. No living people are clearly identifiable as a person.2011-11-20Two gilded deity murti stand in a golden shrine niche, heavily garlanded with multicoloured marigold and flower garlands in yellow, red, green and white. The left figure, a male deity with a tall crown and turban-like headwear, wears layered gold necklaces and raises one hand in blessing. The right figure wears a red and gold sari-style garment, a gold crown and a gold necklace. A small brass kalasha stands in front, beside an ornate gold frame holding a small deity image and a brass lamp stand. Gold-painted carved pillars frame the niche, with a carved Ganesha relief at lower left and a dim yellow-lit backdrop.2006-09-23October 15 20132013-10-15August 25 20162016-08-25Photograph of a decorated metal deity murti seated on an ornate silver-gilt throne with a carved backrest and lion-like armrests.
