December 30 20072007-12-30December 30 20072007-12-30A group stands inside a covered pavilion beside an ornate gold-plated throne with a tall, arched backrest carved with floral and figural panels, its seat draped in plastic sheeting. A man in an orange turban and orange robe, with a long rudraksha mala and dark hair, stands centre-frame looking toward the throne, with a bare-chested long-haired sadhu in orange at right and a man in white dhoti and orange shawl beside him. Younger men in blue and yellow shirts and a white-clad man stand behind, and a figure in orange and a figure in a pink shawl are in the foreground near the throne. The orange-robed figure appears to be a person by appearance, with saffron robes, rudraksha mala and turban as cues, though the image is uncertain.2007-12-30Photo inside a hall with a grey floor, dark curtains and a golden ornate throne with a canopy on a raised platform at right. Several saffron-robed monks stand in conversation. Beside him, a man in a beige vest over a light orange robe holds a striped cloth bag strap. A monk at left touches his forehead. Another monk in white-orange robes stands at centre. A gold-and-red throne sits behind them.2009-12-11A standing man in an orange-saffron shawl and dhoti, with long dark hair tied in a bun, reaches toward the head of a seated figure in a saffron robe with a white tilak on the forehead. The seated figure sits cross-legged on a red-and-black tiger-print cushion inside an ornate gold-leaf throne with carved scrollwork. Behind them a white wall, a framed photograph of a seated saffron-clad figure, and a shelf with small items are visible. The scene reads as a devotee touching the head of a revered figure seated on a throne, possibly during darshan. The seated figure appears to be a statue or lifelike figure rather than a living person, given the stillness and wax-like finish.2009-07-06A seated bearded elder in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a red tilak on his forehead, against a red and gold patterned wall. Facing him, a person in an orange hooded top and orange shawl sits with their back to the camera. To the right, a person with hair in a bun wears a maroon-brown wrap, a long layered gold-and-silver beaded necklace and bangles, and gestures toward the throne. At left edge, a man in maroon clothing holds a camera. The page relates the scene to a Satsang welcome of visiting swamis. Given the saffron robes and ceremonial throne, the seated elder may be a person, though the face is not visible in a way that confirms this.2014-01-08A seated man in an orange saffron robe with long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead sits on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions. His right palm is raised near a devotee who bends forward in a white shirt and dark trousers and reaches toward his head, appearing to receive a blessing. Several saffron-robed and white-clad attendants stand behind. A gilded footstool and a floral arrangement of yellow and pink flowers sit in front of the throne, and a navy curtain forms the backdrop. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long swept-back hair, an orange robe and a gold-framed throne.2010-09-05February 06 20132013-02-06 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremony in a plain room with a white wall decorated with red and green lotus borders. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a white and multicoloured flower garland and a green-edged shawl sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, his hand raised in blessing. A devotee in orange robes kneels at his feet and touches them, while another robed man in orange stands beside a microphone stand holding a gold-coloured item and wears a gold necklace. A woman in a white sari with a red bindi stands at left covering her mouth, and a man in a red sari appears at the far left edge; an older man with white hair stands in the background. Two other people in orange robes sit at right. Red flowers lie on the carpet. Visible physical people: about seven.2009-12-26A photograph of a seated guru on a gold-backed throne with a tiger-print cushion, wearing an orange-brown robe, a rudraksha mala and ornate gold necklace and bangles, with white tilak on the forehead, hands folded in greeting and smiling. Facing him at left, an elderly man in an orange turban and orange robe sits in a white chair with hands joined. Standing between them, a man in a pale pink kurta and a young man in white shirt stand near a gold kalasha-like ornament, and a saffron-robed attendant with a mala stands behind the throne. The setting is a stage with maroon curtains.2013-02-24January 1st 2013December 31 20092009-12-31
