A woman in a white sari with a red border stands at left holding a small silver vessel and a brass pooja plate. Behind the lingam a man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl pours liquid from a vessel onto the lingam, wearing a gold necklace. Other women in white and pastel saris stand nearby. Tall brass oil lamps stand at right beside a green cloth draped over a blue canopy, with marigold garlands and rose petals on the ground. A man in a white dhoti and white shirt, wearing glasses and a wristwatch, sits cross-legged at a stone-brick fire pit, pouring liquid from a small metal vessel into the flames. Behind him, three deity murtis sit on gilded arched thrones: the central figure in a pink sari with a tall crown and garlands of white and red flowers, and flanking figures in golden and brown saris with garlands. Brass oil lamps and a brass bowl sit on the altar, with a yellow-and-white cloth backdrop and orange-robed attendant figures visible above. The attendee is an appearance-based candidate only loosely; no qualifying cues are clearly visible, so identity is uncertain.2009-09-22A shaved-headed male priest in a white dhoti with a maroon-and-white border holds a glass vessel topped with a red fruit or offering aloft with his right arm, while his left hand is held near his chest. White horizontal tilak lines mark his forehead and arms, and he wears gold ornaments on his wrist and a gold necklace. Beside him a woman in a yellow-striped sari with a red bindi stands with palms pressed together in prayer. Behind them is a maroon curtain and other devotees in white. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam ritual.2010-10-16A seated priest in plain white dhoti and shawl with a gold border performs a ritual pouring at a small golden kalasha-shaped vessel on a brass tray, with yellow flowers, leaves and a red cloth in front. Across from him a woman in a white and light-blue garment with a white forehead marking sits before a large metal pot and steel bowls. Behind them a shrine wall shows a deity murti with garlands, a flower vase and offerings on a raised platform.2011-10-05
