In the foreground, a figure in orange and saffron robes sits at the lower left, seen from behind. A purple banner reads Los Angeles Arunachala on a stand with a red rope barrier, and cushions lie on the floor. Many people sit on the floor in white, red and dark clothing, with more seated on chairs at the right. Ornate arched shrine niches and gold deity figures are visible behind them. The projection is shown on a dark wall.2011-12-05July 22 20132013-07-22A photograph of a large screen showing a video-conference feed from Los Angeles Arunachala. A white caption banner reads LOS ANGELES ARUNACHALA across the top. Many seated devotees fill the room in mostly white, cream and red clothing, with several women in red and orange saris at the front. Some sit on striped mats and rugs with brass pots, flowers and offering plates in front of them. Background rows of audience members sit on chairs.2013-10-28A photograph of a television or video screen showing a live link to the Los Angeles Arunachala centre. A white banner reads Los Angeles Arunachala across the top of the screen. Beneath it, a large group of seated devotees fills a hall, many in white and orange, pink, red and yellow clothing. Some sit on mats and cushions before a stage with a decorated altar, flowers and fruit arranged in the foreground. Several people in white clothes sit near the front, and one figure in white sits at the far right edge. Fruit offerings and baskets lie on the floor in front, consistent with a Guru Purnima offering.2013-07-22A photograph of a large screen showing a live video feed of a group of devotees seated on the floor of a decorated hall, with deity murtis and shrines arranged along the back, and a lower-third caption reading Los Angeles ARUNACHALA. Multiple devotees wear white, yellow and purple garments with yellow shawls. Brass-framed shrines with idols, garlands and kalasha-like offerings are visible. Above the main feed, smaller panels show offerings and decorated trays. The caption attributes the location to a centre named Arunachala.2011-10-25July 22 20132013-07-22April 07 20132013-04-07A photograph of a large screen showing a live video feed of a seated congregation at a centre labelled "Los Angeles Arunachala" in white banner text across the top. Many people sit closely together in white, orange, pink and blue clothing, some with white head coverings, and several appear to be in meditative or devotional postures.2013-04-14A flat-screen display in a hall shows a photograph captioned "Los Angeles Arunachala" with a small label "LA-Arunachala" below. The pictured group of about 20 people sits on red mats and cushions in front of a shrine draped with orange cloth, marigold and rose garlands, and a framed portrait garlanded in flowers. Attendees wear white, saffron-orange, pink and teal clothing, and some sit cross-legged in meditation posture. A portrait on the altar is a depiction, not a physical person. The screen itself is photographed, so the physical people in the scene are only the blurred attendees seen on the display.2013-04-07
