A woman in an orange sari with a white flower garland stands center, smiling, as a robed figure in orange and white places a hand on her head. To the left, bald men in white clothing stand with hands pressed together in namaste, and a young man in white is nearby. Behind them are wooden railings and a red-and-white painted wall. No candidate is confidently identifiable from appearance, so the robed blessing figure is described by role only.2010-08-30A photograph of an outdoor devotional gathering under a tent. A woman in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala stands centrally, holding a silver plate of offerings toward a seated man in saffron robes at lower right. Several devotees in white and cream clothes stand at left with hands pressed together in prayer, one wearing glasses. A lit lamp and a deity image or altar are visible in the background. Ritual offering or aarti setting.2010-11-03A photograph of a temple or ashram setting with a central figure in saffron-orange robes and a long swept-back hairstyle holding an open book, with a rudraksha mala around the neck. Another saffron-robed monastic stands at the right, and a bald man in white clothing with hands in anjali mudra stands at the left, a person in the foreground appears to be receiving a touch or blessing on the forehead. Several onlookers stand in the background near a shrine with a colourful deity murti and lit lamps, and a wooden railing or counter runs along the front.2010-08-31September 07 20102010-09-07A photograph of a devotional reception in an open pavilion with an orange-painted wall and a corrugated metal roof. A man in orange robes with long swept-back hair and a dark rudraksha mala stands centre, holding a sheaf of papers and extending his hand in blessing toward a kneeling man in a white shirt who bows with his palms pressed together. Behind them, men in white and light clothing watch and smile. At right, a bald man in orange robes holds a brass and gold ceremonial staff wrapped in an orange cloth. A metal railing runs along the foreground. The orange-robed man with long hair and rudraksha is a Swamiji (probable) candidate, based on long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, and is shown in an in_person blessing role.2010-09-01A photograph of a ritual scene in a temple-style hall. A central figure in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala stands with arms extended toward a tray of offerings. Behind and around him, several men in white dhotis and white shawls stand or sit, some with shaved heads, and one older man in white holds a brass plate. A gold-framed deity image and floral decorations appear at the upper right, with a warm, dim interior and a hanging light at top left.2010-10-26June 21 20122012-06-21 +1 copies
