A photograph of an open-sided flower stall under a corrugated tin roof. A man in a white short-sleeved shirt and dark trousers stands at a metal table strung with red and yellow flower garlands, reaching for a garland. Beside him a woman in a light blue sari sits on the ground sorting yellow flowers into a basket. Men in white shirts, a checked red shirt and a striped shirt work cross-legged on sheets; one man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at left, and another in a checked shirt and blue trousers hangs a multicoloured flower garland on a pillar at right. Plastic bags, a metal pot and plastic cups lie nearby. The scene looks like preparation of floral decorations for a ritual or festival, with no visible figure identifiable as a person.2015-01-03A floor-level photograph of men stringing and assembling flower garlands inside a temporary wooden-framed room. Several seated men work on mats: one in a white vest, others in striped and plaid shirts. Behind them are draped white and pink statues, bolts of cloth and bags, and a red curtain hangs at right.2011-12-12Two women sit on the ground stringing yellow marigold flowers into garlands on an orange cloth beside a steel bowl of loose blossoms.
