A photograph of an indoor hall with a light beige wall and a bare floor. A bare-chested man with his hair tied in a bun and white vibhuti lines on his forehead holds his right palm outward toward a seated boy in a blue shirt who bows his head. He wears a long rudraksha-style bead necklace with white beads, a beaded waist band, an orange-saffron dhoti and a gold armlet. Beside him, a man in a checked light blue shirt and glasses holds a folded white paper and a small silver vessel. Two women stand on the left: one in a yellow saree and one in a blue-green patterned kurta with a long braid. The gesture suggests a blessing or energy healing moment.2013-02-02A photo of a small room with pale walls where children and young people gather around a seated woman in a red-orange head wrap and ochre-and-red robes with a gold border, who applies a vertical white mark to a boy's forehead with her fingers. Her neck wears layered rudraksha-style beads. Beside her a bald man in red-gold robes, a rust-coloured bead necklace and bangles, stands watching. A young man in a checked shirt and a boy in a white shirt stand nearby, and a woman in a green top sits at a table behind. Plastic chairs and a white table fill the background.2015-07-26A photograph of a seated man in a rust-red shawl and white-and-blue flower garland blessing a devotee by placing his right hand on the devotee's head. Beside him, a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala and white forehead marking smiles and watches. The devotee, in a blue polo shirt, bows forward holding papers. Behind them, other women in saris and a man in white stand in a room with a white wall, red curtain and wall air conditioner. Around them, devotees in saris and white garments stand; saffron-robed attendants with rudraksha malas and white-painted foreheads stand at right, one holding a camera. Marigold garlands drape the doorway above. This appears to be a blessing or padapuja-style reception.2014-06-20April 14 20122012-04-14
