Outdoor Janmashtami-style celebration on a muddy, wet clearing under a grey cloudy sky. A central figure in a pale, drenched cloth is hoisted upward, mid-air, one arm raised holding a stick, with pink and red colour on the head and wrap. Around them, devotees in white clothes throw water from buckets: a bald man in white at left pours from an orange bucket, a woman in a white top and white wrap pours from a red bucket at right, and others in white and a man in an orange shirt and grey trousers watch or join. A red pot hangs from a rope on a metal frame at upper centre, a traditional dahi handi-type setup. Trees and a fence line the background.
