Long empty stone colonnade in a South Indian temple corridor, receding toward a distant doorway. Rows of carved granite pillars with ornate bracket capitals line both sides, each topped with painted yellow lion-like brackets. The ceiling is painted with concentric rosette medallions in pink, yellow, purple and blue, lit by a line of ceiling lights. No people, deity murti or ritual activity is visible; the photograph documents the architecture of the hall.2012-05-29July 13 20092009-07-13May 10 20122012-05-10January 14 20092009-01-14August 11 20092009-08-11May 29 20122012-05-29 +1 copiesJuly 14 20092009-07-14January 14 20092009-01-14A long, pillared corridor inside a stone temple, with rows of white carved pillars topped by sculpted lion-like brackets along both sides. Each bracket is painted and carved with rearing lions and yali-like figures, and the ceiling above holds a sequence of circular medallions painted in concentric rings of red, green, blue and orange. Pendant lamps hang from the ceiling at intervals. At the far end of the corridor a white gopuram-style structure is visible through the arches. No people are present in the frame.2006-09-23May 21 20122012-05-21
