Many men wear white dhotis and white shirts, while others wear checked or striped shirts and trousers. Palm fronds and wooden poles frame the stall, and a Tamil-language sign hangs at the top left. A forested hill rises in the background, and a man in the foreground holds a white plastic bag. No recognisable a person figure is visible, so the scene shows only devotees waiting for annadan-style food distribution.2012-11-27July 27 20082008-07-27November 24 20062006-11-24A crowded indoor tent at a person Spurana programme in Salem, Tamil Nadu, with white walls and a tall bamboo pole. Many men and women wear white dhotis, white shirts and white saris, with some lanyards visible. Several men wear white dhotis and white shirts, one man in the foreground wears an orange-and-blue shirt with an orange cloth over his shoulder and carries a yellow plastic bag, and another wears a striped shirt. Behind the barrier, tall palm trees, a brick building and more tents are visible, with additional people in the background, some women in saris.2012-11-27November 25 20062006-11-25An outdoor photo of a temporary event site with a blue and yellow striped canopy tent supported by bamboo poles and guy ropes on a dirt ground. Several people stand and walk around the tent: a woman in a blue striped sari at left, a woman in a green sari, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers, and people in white clothing near the tent, including a man in white kurta standing under the canopy. A woman in a white salwar kameez with an orange handbag stands at right, and a woman in a red patterned sari is at far right. Behind the tent are a photo display board, pale residential buildings and palm trees under a cloudy sky. Seated people are visible inside the tent on chairs and mats. The scene has roughly 12 visible people.2006-12-13A long outdoor queue of many devotees waits under a covered shelter decorated with strings of multicoloured triangular bunting and tall green palm fronds on poles. Men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with checked lungis, stand alongside women in colourful saris, one in green and another in yellow-and-red, while a saffron-clad man in an orange cloth is visible mid-line. Several people carry plastic bags and water bottles. The paved ground is lined with palms and a banner is mounted near the roof. Palm-leaf decorations and bunting suggest an annadan food-distribution line.2012-11-27December 13 20072007-12-13
