Outdoor temple construction scene at dusk beneath palm and tree canopy. A tall bamboo scaffold tower stands on the left, with a workman standing on its upper level. In the centre-right, several people in white dhotis and white shirts gather around a large pale stone or plaster deity murti being lifted or carried, with one man in a white shirt reaching toward it. A woman in an orange sari stands in the foreground on the left, and a row of people in white and colourful saris and white garments stands near the scaffold. Piles of red earth, stone blocks and construction material lie on the ground behind them, with a partly built stone structure visible.

A photograph of a construction site at a temple under development, with a tall bamboo scaffold rising around a white flagstaff pole. Several workers in white dhotis and dark clothing tend the base beside a stone pedestal with a seated stone deity figure and a stepped stone plinth. A brass pot and metal vessels sit on the ground near the work. On the right, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and orange head wrap stands with his back partly turned, observing the scene. Palm trees, bare ground, and rubble surround the site under a clear sky. The people visible total five.

Outdoor photograph of a tall, slender copper-coloured flagstaff rising from a white square base in a palm-lined grounds, with an orange cloth hanging from its middle and a small flag or finial at the top against a pale blue sky. Coconut palms surround the pole, and stone sculptures stand to the left near a white boundary wall. At the right, a crowd of devotees gathers in the background, several wearing white and orange clothing, with yellow and orange ceremonial umbrellas visible. The scene suggests a flag-hoisting ceremony, but no specific individual is clearly identifiable.

A tall bamboo scaffold rises beside a white pole, and several workers climb it while others stand below in white and light clothing. Stacked red bricks, a pile of sand, gravel and a grey stone figure of a bull sit near a low platform. A man in a saffron-orange cloth wrap, bare-chested, stands at right beside a silver SUV, watching the work. A decorated vehicle with gold ornamentation is visible at left.

A tall wooden flagstaff, wrapped in rope and topped with a red-clad figure and a tuft of straw-coloured fibre, rises above a white plinth on a sandy open ground. Beneath it sits a black stone Nandi bull with a yellow-orange flower garland and a dark stone base with a lotus pedestal. Coconut palms and leafy trees stand behind, and a few men in white dhotis and shirts gather at the left and right edges.

A black stone Nandi bull sits on the platform with a marigold garland, and a black stone pedestal with flower garland lies in the foreground on sandy ground. Several people in white clothing stand near a stone block at left, and coconut palms and trees fill the background under a clear blue sky.

Outdoors among coconut palms, a tall copper dhwaja (flagstaff) rises from a red-painted stepped base. A saffron-clad sadhu in orange robes stands on the base beside the mast, and a bald man in orange robes kneels at its foot, hands on the structure. Nearby, a bald man in a white dhoti with a maroon-bordered shawl stands watching, and to the right a man in white dhoti and orange robe with a marigold garland holds a tray of red flowers. Orange and red pennants flutter, and a camera operator films the scene.

Upward view of a tall copper-clad pole rising against a clear blue sky beside a coconut palm. Its base is a dark carved stone or wood plinth draped with white and marigold garlands, topped with green leaves and a palm-frond tuft. Two bare-chested men in orange-red dhotis reach up toward the top of the pole, one with long dark hair tied up. A string of small lights runs along the edge of a shaded canopy at the top left, and a saffron flag is tied near the pole's tip. The scene suggests a ritual pole raising at an ashram or temple.

Outdoor photo of a tall copper-clad ritual pole, a dhvaja or flagstaff, rising from a white plinth at a village site. Its top is crowned with a bundle of straw or grass and a small red-and-blue flag flutters beside it. Below, a black stone Nandi or sacred bull sits on the white base, garlanded with yellow and orange flower garlands. Coconut palms and green trees stand behind, under a clear pale sky. A strand of blue-and-white bunting is strung between palms. Several people are at the edges: a man in a white shirt and dhoti at lower left, another man at lower centre, and partially visible figures near the bottom and at the left edge. Other white plinths and wooden stakes lie on the sandy ground.
