Night-time temple ritual under an open roofed hall with scaffolding and pillars. Many devotees are seen from behind, mostly men with long braided or tied-back hair, bare-chested or in white dhotis and orange saffron cloths, some wearing rudraksha beads. In the centre, priests in white dhotis and orange cloths perform worship at a decorated altar with flower garlands, brass lamps, fruit and offerings spread on red-draped tables. A small shrine with a deity murti decorated with flowers stands on the left, with a striped rug and a colourful canopy in the foreground. A figure in white at the left of the altar may be a sannyasi or priest. No one is clearly identifiable as a person from their appearance, so the role description is used.

Foreground devotees in white dhotis and orange saffron robes stand with their backs to the camera, some with red-and-saffron shawls. Many women in white and orange saffron clothing, one older woman with grey hair in an orange top has her hands joined in prayer. On the right a lit shrine holds a deity murti decorated with garlands. On the left a decorated palanquin with red and pink garlands and a Ganesha murti stands near a pillared hall with framed portraits and hanging saffron banners. A white smoke plume rises in the middle. Several orange-clad people are visible near the centre, and the scene appears to be a devotional ceremony or aarti.

Dozens of devotees sit on the ground and on white plastic chairs facing a raised white platform, many in saffron and orange robes, others in white clothes. On the platform, several priests in orange and white garments sit before a gold-framed altar decorated with flower garlands and a deity murti draped in a green cloth. Standing figures in white dhotis stand behind them, and a small fire with smoke rises near the platform. Red and white pillars and hanging decorations frame the scene.
