On the left, a bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair and a braided plait sits on a gold-ornamented seat, wearing a rust-orange wrap with a yellow-gold border, a red bindi and white forehead marks, smiling broadly. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, saffron/orange wrap, ornate gold seat and forehead markings. The second man faces the seated figure with palms raised in reverence. A man with long swept-back hair, a bare upper body in a saffron-orange shawl, and a gold-beaded necklace of rudraksha-style beads sits on a throne-like seat and touches the forehead of a devotee with his raised hand. The devotee wears a white shirt with a saffron-red shawl and has his hands raised in reverence. Behind them stands a large silver trident with a red stone, beside a golden deity murti, with a red curtain and a white-and-orange wooden screen behind. A partly visible woman with a tilak sits at the right edge. The man is an appearance-based a person, seated and giving a forehead blessing, so this is a probable in_person depiction with a clear blessing gesture.2014-09-01
