Five men in saffron-orange robes walk along it. The man second from right, in a long saffron robe with a saffron shawl, presses his palms together, while the man in the centre background wears a long flowing saffron wrap with long dark hair and a matching orange sash. A bearded man at left holds a small flashlight, and another man in orange with long hair carries a red object. Doorways open to rooms on the left and to a dim passage ahead. The scene looks like a building under preparation.2009-11-16Four men in plain white shirts and dhotis or lungis bend over a freshly levelled dirt floor inside a block-walled enclosure at night, working with their hands and tools to smooth the ground. Warm artificial light falls across the uneven earth, and tall brick walls, some unfinished, surround the site. A pink cloth hangs from the right wall. The scene shows construction groundwork at an ashram building site.2006-10-06Three workmen are plastering the base of a pale grey concrete block wall at an outdoor construction site on bare red-brown earth. The man in the centre, wearing a striped shirt and grey trousers, crouches low with a trowel at the wall's base. Another man in a peach shirt and grey trousers walks past, and a man in a white shirt and dark trousers holds a metal tray of mortar at right. A metal pan and sandbags lie on the ground, and a white building with blue doors and yellow flowering shrubs stands in the background.2009-09-07A photograph of an unfinished interior under construction, with a freshly poured wet concrete floor spanning the room. Four men work in the space: a man in a striped yellow and red shirt and white cap stands at left, a shirtless man in a grey vest and dark shorts walks across the concrete, and two more men in light clothing stand near the back wall and doorway. Metal buckets sit on the floor at right, with a trowel handle visible. Bare grey block walls with white plaster, a window at right, and a corrugated roof with skylights frame the scene.2007-07-03December 09 20092009-12-09December 09 20092009-12-09A photograph of an unfinished concrete interior under construction, with bare grey plaster walls and a wide window opening onto building frames with rebar. A worker in jeans and sandals stands on a white stepladder at right, his gloved hand raised, while another worker in a blue checked shirt and cap works near the window. A third man in a yellow striped shirt leans against the left wall, and a young boy in an orange top and shorts stands in a doorway. A heap of grey sand or cement lies on the floor and a metal pole stands upright in the room. No a person candidate is visible.2009-12-17 +1 copies
