Night photo at an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated metal roof and red steel posts, showing a devotional gathering. A tall copper-coloured flagstaff or kalasha-topped pillar stands on an orange base beside a red-draped table. Several people in white dhotis and white garments move around, some bowing near the pillar, and a circular red-brown marking is painted on the paved floor. In the foreground a man in a beige kurta and a woman in a brown sari with white blouse, a jasmine garland on the man's neck, stand facing away and to the side. A yellow vehicle is parked at the right edge. Roughly a dozen people are visible.2011-11-29Night-time outdoor ritual at a covered open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof and red pillars. Several women in saris, one in gold, others in cream and maroon, and men in white and cream hold brass plates of offerings and flower garlands. A standing figure in a cream long coat holds a garland.
