A large crowd of mostly men in white and pastel clothes, with some women and children, fills an indoor hall and presses toward a raised white platform. A figure seated on the platform wears a saffron-orange turban and an orange robe with gold trim, a white and red flower garland around the neck, and holds palms together in namaskar. Behind him a man in white shirt stands near a TMESS banner and a black speaker stack. Another bearded man in white sits at the lower right of the platform. The scene suggests a darshan or satsang gathering with devotees offering greetings.2003-11-09December 19 20032003-12-19A photograph of a large crowd packed into an indoor hall, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts with orange lanyards. In the right foreground, a figure in an orange-and-gold robe and an orange turban, wearing a white flower garland and holding hands folded in greeting, sits on a white-draped seat. A man in white with a name badge points toward him, and a uniformed police officer stands at left guiding people. A grey-haired woman in a green sari sits on the floor at lower left. A visible white-draped platform and a speaker stand indicate a darshan setting.2003-11-09Photograph of a mass initiation event in a bright hall with white walls and barred windows. A seated figure on a raised white-draped platform wears a saffron-orange robe and an orange turban-style head covering, with long dark hair visible; a rudraksha-style mala hangs at the neck. A standing attendant in white clothes and white headwear places a hand on the seated figure's head while an older man in a white shirt bows forward with his hands near the platform. Other devotees in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing ribbon-style badges, stand or wait along a red carpet. A studio light and a podium with a microphone stand at the back, and a crowd of roughly thirty-plus people fills the room.A crowded indoor hall with a red carpet where a bearded man in an orange turban, with a garland of red and white flowers and a gold-bordered orange garment, stands at the center reaching out to devotees. A bearded man in a long white robe with a red lanyard stands to the right, leaning in. Around them a dense crowd of mostly men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing red lanyards, presses forward with hands raised, while a few photographers in white shirts take pictures. Behind them a backdrop shows a painted scene and orange drapes, with a sign partly visible on the right wall.December 19 20032003-12-19October 15 20082008-10-15A dense crowd of men and women in white shirts and dhotis presses around a central figure in an orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulders, with a saffron head wrap and long dark hair. The central figure stands in a narrow street-like passage lit by hanging lights. Many people fold their hands in namaste or clap, and some hold small paper packets. A young girl in a patterned dress stands at left, and an older man with a bare upper body and a mala-like cord is at lower right. Swamiji (probable) is the central figure in saffron-orange clothing with a saffron head wrap and long hair, with the probable cues being the saffron garments and head wrap.2003-11-09May 28 20222022-05-28 +1 copiesOctober 15 20082008-10-15A dense crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis fills a night-time street outside a temple courtyard with white railings and string lights overhead.
