A bronze-coloured statue of a deity stands against a large circular backdrop of marigold-like flowers in red, yellow, purple, white and green. The figure wears a tall jewelled crown, dark hair, a blue silk blouse under a heavy layered jewelled necklace, and a brown rudraksha-style beaded garland over an orange shawl. Its raised right hand shows an abhaya-like gesture, and a gold bow with red-and-gold wrapping rests on the right side. Garlands of white flowers drape the figure. This is a deity murti, not a living person.2013-12-22December 22 20132013-12-22A golden statue of a deity murti is adorned for worship, wearing a jeweled crown and heavy gem-studded necklaces over a royal blue blouse and orange drape, with a rudraksha-style garland of brown beads.
