Around them is an arrangement of ornate silver bowls and silver-rimmed trays holding turmeric-yellow liquid, rice, kumkum and petals, with a small oil lamp burning nearby. Hands in white sleeves hold ladles and offerings at the edge of the frame. Golden ritual vessels surround the scene.
