Evening ritual outdoors at a temple-style courtyard with orange walls, a stone pillar, and a tall banana plant with leaves. A man in a red silk dhoti and shawl with gold border, wearing a rudraksha-style mala, extends his hands to a man in white clothes with a white flower garland. Brass plates of fruit, cooked food, sugarcane and small offerings sit on an orange cloth. A young attendant in white dhoti with gold border and beaded necklace stands at left holding a plate, and two more attendants in orange holding trays are behind him. Temple ritual in a golden-hued shrine. Three men in white dhotis, bare-chested, perform worship before a deity murti draped in red and white flower garlands. The man on the left, bald and holding a small silver plate, pours or offers from a cup. The central man wears a tall ornate headdress with jewelled gold and black patterning and a white garland, reaching toward the murti. The man on the right wears a cream cloth on his head and a white shawl, bowing with hands together over the murti. Gold and bronze throne-like ornaments and a lit oil lamp frame the scene, with red satin hangings in the background. This is a padapuja or abhishekam style offering.

In the foreground, a bowed woman in a red blouse with bare arms and a bangle wears a long garland of white and orange marigolds around her neck, her head lowered. A man in a white kurta with embroidered patterns leans forward, placing his hand on her head in a blessing gesture. Behind them, other people in white and cream clothing stand, and a woman in a yellow sari with a red-bordered head covering appears at right. A framed picture hangs on the wall and a tall brass lamp stands near the centre.
