Outdoor photograph of three men walking along a dusty dirt road lined with trees and small buildings. In the centre, an elderly bearded sadhu in saffron-orange robes wears a teal turban, a rudraksha mala with a pendant, and wrist beads, and holds a fan of woven palm with a feathered handle. To the left, a man in white shirt and white dhoti with a blue bead necklace carries a steel tray. To the right, a man in white shirt and dhoti holds a small brass kalasha-style vessel with blue and white garland. Other people walk in the background, some in white and orange.

Outdoor procession in a temple courtyard with a crowd of devotees in white and orange behind. Center, a bearded sannyasi in saffron-orange robes wears a teal turban, a rudraksha mala and a pendant, holds a palm-leaf fan with a peacock-feather tuft and a coconut-shell instrument, and has a hand at his chest. To the left, a man in white shirt and glasses carries a steel tray with offerings, and a man on the right in a white polo shirt holds a small brass deity figure garlanded in blue cloth. Orange and yellow flags and an ornate umbrella with floral embroidery are visible above, with stone statues in the background. The bearded sannyasi's appearance is not a qualifying a person candidate by the cues given, so he is described by role.

Outdoor procession on a reddish dirt path with grass patches. At the centre, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe with a dark rudraksha mala walks smiling, a candidate for Swamiji (probable) by appearance cues. Around him, men in white kurtas and white dhotis wear red-and-gold shawls and lanyard badges. One man in white holds a brass vessel with green leaves on a red tray, while another carries a round blue-and-orange ceremonial fan. A man at right grips a tall blue pole. Behind them stand more people and orange flags on white poles.

A festival procession outdoors on a paved courtyard. In the foreground a bald man in saffron robes and a gold necklace with a pendant carries a brass kalasha topped with mango leaves, marigold garlands and flowers. Beside him an elderly bearded sannyasi in saffron wears a turquoise turban, rudraksha mala and holds a palm-leaf fan, hand over chest. Men in white dhotis and shirts, one with a blue-and-gold staff, walk alongside. Behind them ornate umbrellas with red, yellow and blue floral patterns shade a line of devotees in white and saffron clothing. A banner with a portrait is visible in the background.

Outdoor photograph at a religious gathering with a red-and-white tent and a decorated red-and-gold ratha-style float behind the crowd. Four prominent men walk forward in saffron and orange sannyasi robes: on the left a man in a rust-orange turban and long rudraksha mala waves his hand; next to him a bearded man in orange cloth; beside them a long-haired, long-white-bearded elder in orange shawl with red-and-white beads and a red mala. On the far right a bare-shouldered devotee in white dhoti and red shawl wears gold necklaces. Behind them devotees in white dhotis with gold borders and marigold garlands crowd the path. No identification of the elder is made from appearance alone; the outdoor procession setting and orange robes suggest a sadhu procession.

A procession on a dirt path under a bright sky. In the centre, a bearded man with a white beard wears orange robes and a long white and green garland, his hand resting on the garland. Beside him, a smiling man with long dark hair wears an orange turban and orange robes, a rudraksha mala on his chest, and presses his palms together in greeting. Behind them, a boy in white dhoti and orange shawl carries a flower-decorated tray, and men in white shirts and dark-clothed attendants walk nearby. Multicoloured parasols with tasselled edges and orange flags rise above the crowd.

Outdoor procession on a dirt path beside dry grass. A young man with long hair, an orange turban, an orange robe and a long gold-beaded necklace walks forward with hands clasped, appearing to be a Swamiji (probable) given his long swept-back hair, turban and ornate necklace. Beside him, an older bearded man in an orange hooded robe with a tilak walks with an attendant, and a shaved-headed monk in orange follows. Behind them, white-clad devotees in white shirts and dhotis, one wearing a red-and-gold shawl, carry a red-and-blue flag with a white bird emblem and a decorated umbrella overhead.

Outdoor festival procession in daylight with red and gold ceremonial umbrellas and tasselled canopies overhead. At centre, a man in saffron robes and an orange turban stands with palms pressed together in greeting, wearing a long garland of pink and white flowers and a rudraksha mala; he has long dark hair and a short beard. Around him, men in white kurta-style clothes and orange shoulder scarves walk closely, one at left wearing a rudraksha mala and another beside him with a long beard. Several helpers in white and orange surround the procession, one wearing a small badge on his shirt. The Swamiji candidate is distinguished by saffron robes, turban, garland and rudraksha cues, and appearance supports the label Swamiji (probable) as the central figure in the procession.
