On the left, a small figure in saffron-orange robes with a red turban stands on a wooden base, a murti or statue rather than a person. Red flowers, a brass kalasha-style vessel, small brass bowls holding white and yellow offerings, a bell, a spoon, green leaves and a rudraksha-style mala are arranged around the tray. A striped cloth edge appears at the lower right. No physical people are visible.2017-01-22Close-up photo of a puja ritual at a row of brass plates. A person's hand, wrapped with a red rudraksha mala and a gold bangle, reaches over a brass tray holding yellow marigold flowers, a small brass deity murti, and pink petals. Nearby lie brass cups, a brass lota and bell, and burning oil lamps on a white cloth. The blurred foreground shows other devotees in white and light blue clothing seated at the same ritual. This looks like a pada puja, a foot-worship ceremony.2011-12-14January 03 20172017-01-03
