October 27 20082008-10-27Indoor photo of a procession through a long, bright hall with a vaulted roof and tiled floor with orange-brown stripes. At centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a large white and red flower garland walks barefoot; beside him a boy in a teal shirt and a girl in cream top and brown skirt with a bead necklace walk with hands clasped. Behind them, a man in white shirt and orange shawl and a man in white dhoti walk. To the left, a bearded man in orange-cream robe with red border leads. On the right, a man in white dhoti and white shirt stands with hands folded beside display shelves holding framed photographs, and a glass display case lies in the foreground. Several devotees in white and orange stand along the walls.2008-10-27October 27 20082008-10-27Interior of a temple hall with orange-painted walls and a white tiled floor. A line of about twenty women and some men in white clothes stand in a queue, several wearing orange or saffron shawls and one in yellow, some holding small items. Framed portraits hang on the orange wall and a framed photo sits on a shelf; a portrait of a man in orange robes with a garland is visible, but no one can be confidently matched to a person. Glass display cabinets with items sit in the foreground, a white-draped table with brass vessels is at right, and a dark suitcase rests near the cabinets. A mirror reflects the queue and a shaded outdoor area with people.2008-12-23October 27 20082008-10-27August 09 20072007-08-09August 06 20092009-08-06A large crowd gathers in an orange-walled hall with a corrugated roof and a red carpet runner. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair and a white tilak wears a red and gold garment and a white flower garland, and is being draped with a red shawl by a man in saffron robes at left. A younger man in saffron robes stands at right beside an orange-cushioned chair. Devotees in white and yellow-saffron stoles line the sides, some with hands folded. Wall posters and framed photographs fill the background.2010-07-21A barefoot procession walks through a plain whitewashed hall with a corrugated metal roof and ceiling fans. In the foreground, two figures in saffron-orange robes lead the way, one in a sleeveless orange top. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and shirts, some with orange shawls and white or beaded necklaces, follow in a line. On the left wall, framed photographs and a banner show a bearded figure in orange robes, and a notice board hangs nearby. Several other people stand in the background near the doorway.2008-08-07December 06 20092009-12-06October 27 20082008-10-27December 30 20092009-12-30
